The Ride-Ready Method
The ORRA Ride-Ready Method™ developed by Tas — a kite-specific performance and recovery system, built for the female rider. Ask any woman who kites where she feels it the next day and you get the same answer. Lower back. Shoulders. Neck. Hip flexors.
Different bodies. Different levels.
Because riding isn’t something you do with your arms. It’s two hours held in one braced position against a pull you don’t control — a wall sit and a deadlift happening at the same time — with the load landing through a harness on your pelvis, and every jump coming down through the same knees.
Nobody had built the training for that. So ORRA did.
The same four places, every time. That isn’t bad luck. That’s the sport leaving a signature on your body.
Anchor - Create a strong and stable foundation.
Adapt - Prepare your body to respond to constantly changing conditions.
Absorb - take force safely. The chop, the landings, the falls.
Express - Turn strength, mobility and control into confident movement on the water.
The goal is simple - Prepare better.
Ride stronger. Recover
faster. Understand why.
Meet Tas
Tasneem Khan is the founder of ORRA and the creator of the ORRA Ride-Ready Method™. When her husband introduced her to kiting, she searched YouTube, asked anyone who would answer, tried to piece together what to do before a session and what to do after. The advice was generic and none of it held. She was still sore. Still inflamed. Still without an answer to the basic questions: when do I ride, when do I rest, and what is this sport actually doing to my body?
Kiting looked like a sport with one setting — push harder. She was certain there was another way.
So, she built it. A qualified fitness instructor in multiple disciplines and breathwork specialist with a background in strength training, yoga and ultra-distance running, Tas went on to explore and research and subsequently was coached by kite coaches and movement specialists which led her to build the method from the ground up — mobility, strength, sculpt and recovery work chosen for a woman's body, rather than simply lifting heavier.
"The method isn't here to tell you how to ride. It's here to help you understand what your body needs, so you can."
